Nonviolent Direct Action Training: 1pm to 5pm

Have you ever wanted to learn how to do an effective sit-in? How to march in the street in a way that enables you to get around obstacles? Or protest for a cause in a creative way?

During this hands-on training, you will learn to design a winning collective action. You will also learn about legal considerations and de-escalation tactics. NVDA training is an essential foundation for effectiveness and safety whether we face ICE, the alt-right, hired coal company thugs, or surveillance and legal repression.

This training builds skills all people can use to strengthen the safety, security, and power of undocumented people, queer and trans people, and people of color as we make political change.
